Mindtime Backup is ready for new European privacy legislation

The new European Privacy Regulation (GDPR) launches on the 25th of May 2018. The purpose of this law is to improve the privacy of European citizens.

We at Mindtime Backup are ready for the new legislation: we have amended our Terms of Use and the Data Processing Agreement to be concluded between you (the Data Subject) and us (the Processor), and added hem to our Terms of Use. You can now view these on our website and Mindtime Management System (MMS).

What will change as of May 25, 2018? Below are the most important changes:

• privacy rights; be expanded and strengthened;
• organizations get more responsibility;
• the same authorizations for all European privacy regulators.

Are you going to use our services from 1 December 2017 or update your current version of the software? Then you automatically use the new Terms of Use and Data Processing Agreement. As a partner you can also inform your current customers of these changes.
